Welcome to the American Cat and Dog Association

Founded in 2010, the ACPA is a vibrant community dedicated to celebrating the unique bond between our canine and feline members. We believe that dogs and cats, despite their differences, share a common goal: making their humans' lives infinitely better through unconditional love, occasional mischief, and endless entertainment.

Our Mission

We exist to promote understanding, cooperation, and friendship between dogs and cats everywhere. Through educational programs, social events, and advocacy initiatives, we work to break down the stereotypes that have long divided our species. Whether you're a tail-wagger or a purr-machine, you belong here.

What We Do

Our association offers a wide range of programs and services for our four-legged members and their human companions. From obedience workshops and scratching post seminars to our famous annual Fetch & Pounce Festival, there's something for every member of the pack (or clowder).

We host monthly meetups where dogs and cats can socialize in a safe, supervised environment. Our trained mediators are always on hand to ensure that tail-chasing remains playful and that no one gets their whiskers in a twist.

Our Leadership

The association is governed by a diverse board of directors consisting of three dogs and three cats, ensuring equal representation for all members. Our current co-presidents are Max, a distinguished Golden Retriever with a passion for community service, and Duchess, an elegant Maine Coon known for her diplomatic skills and impeccable grooming.

Join Our Community

Whether you're a boisterous Labrador, a dignified Siamese, a scrappy terrier mix, or a mysterious tabby, we welcome you with open paws. Membership is open to all dogs and cats who believe in our mission of interspecies harmony and who promise to keep the barking and hissing to a minimum during official meetings.

Together, we're proving that cats and dogs really can get along—and that when we do, amazing things happen.
